Took my partner here for her birthday and thankfully was not disappointed. The young girl serving was very good, pleasant and efficient considering how busy she was. My beetroot starter was lovely, visually very appealing. My partner had croquettes and although tasty she thought the sauce inside was a bit too thick. For mains I had the butternut squash and mushroom Wellington with Truffle mash and kale, my partner had the braised beef shin with charred onions, potato gratin and and burnt bone marrow crumb. The Truffle mash was absolutely gorgeous, loads of Truffle running through, the pastry on the Wellington was fab and the filling was tasty. The kale was a nice accompaniment. The beef shin just fell apart it was so tender and tasty, the gratin was lovely and the crumb gave it a nice texture. We also had a side of heritage carrots which were very tasty. There was a nice atmosphere and the surroundings are modern and relaxed. All in all we both had a great meal and my partner enjoyed her birthday.

Nice dog friendly food pub in Alnwick. Nice menu and lovely staff, we eat on Sunday so the menu was geared towards roast dinners. The pork was great. Food could have been hotter when served. ( My wife sent hers back to be reheated) Our waitress did say they had some issues that day. Don't let this out one off though. Recommended.

Was recommended by a lady in Amble to go here. Food was incredible and lovely setting. The Mussels were very high quality, freshly caught from Scotland. We will be back, cannot recommend enough.

What a superb dining experience. Warm welcome on arrival, plenty of time to peruse the menu then order placed and the anticipation rises as we await our starters .... Beef Raviolo plus Pork Belly Bites , absolutely delicious and set a high bar for our mains. The Seared Venison and Stuffed Porchetta plus sides were off the scale , the finest ingredients cooked to perfection. Despite being pretty full we did order deserts of Sticky Toffee Pudding and Toffee apple semifredo ... yum yum. Excellent food , relaxed atmosphere and modern decor and great service plus special mention to the Chef & kitchen staff who absolutely nailed it. It's a shame we live 3hrs away..... No hesitation in recommending the Adam & Eve.

This place was recommended to us by a few people on Facebook so decided to give it a go. It was quiet for a Saturday afternoon which suited us fine. The two gentlemen on duty were brilliant- attentive without being overbearing. The menu is small but honestly that worked so well for us- my husband having ADHD can get overwhelmed with choices and FOMO so having a limited selection was perfect. I wasn't hungry enough for a starter, he ordered the pork belly bites and the server asked if we'd like them to come with the main which was really appreciated. Husband went for the flat iron steak and I chose the bone marrow beef burger. The food came quickly and was presented beautifully. The pork belly bites were melt-in-the-mouth delicious, so tender and flavourful. Husband's steak was cooked to chef's recommendation (he likes it blue and this was rare) and was perfectly cooked. The burger was a triumph- the bone marrow giving it a rich, sumptuous flavour; accompanied with strong melted cheddar, tomato, baby gem lettuce and pickles it was stunning. My only wish was that it had fresh onion too but I realise lots don't like onion! I was driving so stuck to Fentimans- husband had a craft beer and a cocktail (a reasonable 9) that looked to be their own creation. Atmosphere was lovely and chilled- early 90s pop playing at a perfect volume (loud enough to hear it, not so loud to be distracting!) They even turned the heater down when we asked as it was blasting on us. Would definitely recommend and revisit!

We absolutely loved this place! The food was 12/10 (especially the starters: squash and sweet potato soup, and burrata), the ambience and service - top notch! Also, big shoutout to the person who has complied the list of songs playing, they just added to already amazing experience. Highly recommend

If you find yourself in Alnwick, 3 Clayport St is the address you need to remember. Here lies Adam and Eve, a culinary gem that has quickly captured the hearts (and palates) of locals and visitors alike. This dog-friendly establishment combines a relaxed, modern atmosphere with a menu brimming with seasonal delights, making it a perfect spot for everything from casual lunches to special celebrations.

What sets Adam and Eve apart is not just the quality of its dishes, but also the sincerity of its service. Patrons like Simon Jones rave about memorable experiences, highlighting how the attentive staff manage to maintain efficiency even during busy service. His birthday celebration with a lovely beetroot starter and a beautifully crafted butternut squash and mushroom Wellington, paired with rich truffle mash, is a testament to the kitchen's skill; such attention to detail in both presentation and flavor is hard to come by.

Moreover, the reviews speak volumes about the ingredients used. Gail Russell, enchanted by freshly caught Scottish mussels, showcases the commitment Adam and Eve has to quality sourcing. Their offerings promise a delightful journey across flavors that resonate long after the meal is over. With dishes that include braised beef shin that melts in your mouth and complimenting sides like heritage carrots, you know you are in for a treat.

The fusion of vibrant flavors, a comfortably upscale ambiance, and friendly service makes Adam and Eve an essential stop in Alnwick's dining scene.

In summary, Adam and Eve promises not just food, but an experience. With an inviting atmosphere and a menu filled with remarkable dishes, it earns a loud recommendation. Prepare for a meal that doesn't just satisfy your hunger but also enriches your dining experience in this charming northern town.
